Australian Grass Tree Root Bowl Set – Collection of Four
Sizes:
• 30 cm × 11 cm
• 22 cm × 7 cm
• 15.5 cm × 4.5 cm
• 9 cm × 2 cm
Material: Australian Grass Tree Root with resin-filled natural voids
A complete four-piece collection turned from a single section of Australian Grass Tree root — an extraordinary and rarely used material with a naturally speckled grain and rich, earthy tone. Each bowl was cored from the larger one, creating a true family set where the same grain pattern continues through all four pieces.
Natural cracks and voids in the root have been stabilised and filled with resin, creating river-like lines that run through the set — a striking contrast against the deep red-brown of the wood.
• One continuous set – all bowls made from the same original blank
• Satin finish that brings out the unique cellular patterning of the root
• Decorative collection, ideal as a centrepiece or displayed individually
• Fully sealed – suitable for dry foods, fruit, nuts, or simply as sculptural objects
