Wood & Material: English Elm with deep green resin base
A striking hybrid vase turned from a section of beautifully grained elm, paired with a rich metallic-green resin base. The natural inclusions, grain lines and organic voids in the wood flow seamlessly into the resin, creating a contrast between nature and sculpted form.
This is a special piece in my own timeline too – one of the last items made in my original workshop, completed on 6 February 2024, making it a one-off both in material and story. Watch the full video to see the creation of this piece.
