A unique handmade set turned from an old maple sign, giving the timber a new life rather than allowing it to go to waste. The set includes one large platter and six matching plates.
The maple has plenty of natural character, with attractive figuring, small knots and dark spalting lines running through the grain. Each plate is slightly different, while still clearly belonging to the same set. The simple, shallow design keeps the focus on the wood itself.
As this is a handmade set made from reclaimed timber, small variations and natural markings are part of its character.
