A small hand-turned bowl made from spalted horse chestnut burl. The wood has attractive swirling figure, natural spalting lines and small inclusions that give the bowl plenty of individual character. It has a gently rounded rim and a stepped foot, finished to bring out the warm colours and detailed grain.
As this is a natural handmade piece, the small cracks, voids and variations in the timber are part of its character and make it completely unique.
